Feedback4e was developed using a monolithic software architecture. It works with .net infrastructure on IIS server. Communication is provided between the client and the server with the web api/json based https protocol.
In addition to the main service provided by the web server, a windows service is used for integration and notification needs. A separate scheduler service ensures that emails are sent periodically. If the database is on the same server, services that will run SQL backup scripts must be installed.
